S o you shall make likenesses of your tumors and likenesses of your mice that ravage the land, and you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps He will ease His hand from you, your gods, and your land.

Faceţi, aşadar, nişte chipuri ale bubelor voastre şi ale şoarecilor care vă pustiesc ţara şi daţi slavă Dumnezeului lui Israel. În felul acesta poate El Îşi va ridica mâna de peste voi, de peste zeii voştri şi de peste ţara voastră.
