T herefore you must make images of your tumors and of your mice that destroy the land, and give glory to the God of Israel. Perhaps He will lighten His hand from off you and your gods and your land.

Faceţi, aşadar, nişte chipuri ale bubelor voastre şi ale şoarecilor care vă pustiesc ţara şi daţi slavă Dumnezeului lui Israel. În felul acesta poate El Îşi va ridica mâna de peste voi, de peste zeii voştri şi de peste ţara voastră.
