W herefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

Faceţi, aşadar, nişte chipuri ale bubelor voastre şi ale şoarecilor care vă pustiesc ţara şi daţi slavă Dumnezeului lui Israel. În felul acesta poate El Îşi va ridica mâna de peste voi, de peste zeii voştri şi de peste ţara voastră.
