N aphtali did not drive out the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh, or the inhabitants of Beth-anath, but lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land; and the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath became forced labor for them.

Cei din seminţia lui Neftali nu i-au izgonit nici pe locuitorii din Bet-Şemeş, nici pe locuitorii din Bet-Anat, ci au locuit printre canaaniţi, locuitorii acelor ţinuturi. Totuşi locuitorii din Bet-Şemeş şi Bet-Anat au fost puşi la muncă forţată.
