N either did Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Bethshemesh nor the inhabitants of Bethanath, but he dwelt among the Canaanites that inhabited the land; nevertheless, the inhabitants of Bethshemesh and of Bethanath became tributaries unto them.

Cei din seminţia lui Neftali nu i-au izgonit nici pe locuitorii din Bet-Şemeş, nici pe locuitorii din Bet-Anat, ci au locuit printre canaaniţi, locuitorii acelor ţinuturi. Totuşi locuitorii din Bet-Şemeş şi Bet-Anat au fost puşi la muncă forţată.
