N either did Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh, nor the inhabitants of Beth-anath; but he dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: nevertheless the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and of Beth-anath became tributaries unto them.

Cei din seminţia lui Neftali nu i-au izgonit nici pe locuitorii din Bet-Şemeş, nici pe locuitorii din Bet-Anat, ci au locuit printre canaaniţi, locuitorii acelor ţinuturi. Totuşi locuitorii din Bet-Şemeş şi Bet-Anat au fost puşi la muncă forţată.
