a nd they made their lives bitter with hard labor in mortar and bricks and at all kinds of labor in the field, all their labors which they rigorously imposed on them.

e amareggiarono la loro vita con una dura schiavitú, nei lavori d'argilla e di mattoni e in ogni sorta di lavori nei campi. Li obbligavano a fare tutti questi lavori con asprezza.
