A ll these, being men of war who could draw up in battle formation, came to Hebron with a perfect heart to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest also of Israel were of one mind to make David king.

Toţi aceşti războinici, care puteau ajuta oştirea, au venit cu gând de pace la Hebron ca să-l pună pe David rege peste tot Israelul. De asemenea, toţi ceilalţi din Israel s-au unit cu ei ca să-l facă pe David rege.
