A ll of them men of war, keeping rank in battle array, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.

Toţi aceşti războinici, care puteau ajuta oştirea, au venit cu gând de pace la Hebron ca să-l pună pe David rege peste tot Israelul. De asemenea, toţi ceilalţi din Israel s-au unit cu ei ca să-l facă pe David rege.
