T hen David put garrisons among the Arameans of Damascus, and the Arameans became servants to David, bringing tribute. And the Lord helped David wherever he went.

ثُمَّ وَضَعَ فِرَقاً من الجُنودِ في دِمَشْقَ، فِي أرامَ. وَأصْبَحَ الأرامِيُّونَ خَدَمَ داوُدَ يَدْفَعُونَ لَهُ الجِزْيَةَ. وَكانَ اللهُ يَنْصُرُ داوُدَ حَيثُما تَوَجَّهَ.
