S o they gave to Jacob all the foreign gods which they had and the rings which were in their ears, and Jacob hid them under the oak which was near Shechem.

Ei au dat lui Iacov toţi dumnezeii străini, cari erau în mînile lor, şi cerceii pe cari -i purtau în urechi. Iacov i -a îngropat în pămînt supt stejarul de lîngă Sihem.
