S o they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their power and all their earrings which were in their ears, and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

Ei au dat lui Iacov toţi dumnezeii străini, cari erau în mînile lor, şi cerceii pe cari -i purtau în urechi. Iacov i -a îngropat în pămînt supt stejarul de lîngă Sihem.
