N a ka tu ia, a ka karanga ki nga ngohi a Iharaira, ka mea ki a ratou, He aha koutou i puta mai ai ki te whakatakoto i a koutou ngohi: ehara ianei ahau i te Pirihitini, ko koutou he pononga na Haora? whiriwhiria he tangata ma koutou, a kia heke ih o ia ki ahau.

And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? Am I not a Philistine, and ye slaves to Saul? Choose a man from among you, and let him come down to me.
