ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 17:8 ~ 1 Samuel 17:8

ك انَ جُلْياتُ يخْرُجُ كُلَّ يَومٍ وَيُنادِي مُتَحَدِّياً جُنُودَ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ، فَيَقُولُ: «لِماذا جُنُودُكُمْ مُصْطَفُّونَ اسْتِعْداداً للقِتالِ هَكَذا؟ أنتُمْ خُدّامُ شاوُلَ، وَأنا مِنَ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ. فاخْتارُوا رَجُلاً وَأرْسِلُوهُ لِكَي يُبارِزَنِي.

And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? Am I not a Philistine, and ye slaves to Saul? Choose a man from among you, and let him come down to me.
