K o taua akonga tenei e whakaatu nei i enei mea, ko te kaituhituhi hoki ia i enei mea: e mohio ana ano matou e tika ana tana whakaatu.

It is this same disciple who is bearing witness to these things and who has recorded (written) them; and we know that his testimony is true.
