W ie hat der HERR die Tochter Zion mit seinem Zorn überschüttet! Er hat die Herrlichkeit Israels vom Himmel auf die Erde geworfen; er hat nicht gedacht an seinen Fußschemel am Tage seines Zorns.

¶ Aleph How has the Lord darkened the daughter of Zion in his anger! He has cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel and not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger!
