C ome mai nella sua ira il Signore ha coperto con una nube la figlia di Sion? Egli ha gettato dal cielo in terra la gloria d'Israele e non si è ricordato dello sgabello dei suoi piedi nel giorno della sua ira.

¶ Aleph How has the Lord darkened the daughter of Zion in his anger! He has cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel and not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger!
