S o there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

وَهَكَذا تَمَّ حَشدُ ألفِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ كُلِّ عَشِيرَةٍ مِنْ أُلُوفِ إسْرائِيلَ. تَمَّ اختِيارُ اثْنَي عَشَرَ ألفَ جُندِيٍّ لِهَذِهِ الحَملَةِ.
