N ow the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.

وَقَدْ كانَ جالِساً فِي بَيتِ الشِّتاءِ الَّذِي لَهُ، فِي الشَّهرِ التّاسِعِ مِنَ السَّنَةِ، وَكانَ مَوقِدُ النّارِ أمامَهُ مُشتَعِلاً.
