N ow the king was sitting in the winter-house in the ninth month: and there was a fire in the brazier burning before him.

وَقَدْ كانَ جالِساً فِي بَيتِ الشِّتاءِ الَّذِي لَهُ، فِي الشَّهرِ التّاسِعِ مِنَ السَّنَةِ، وَكانَ مَوقِدُ النّارِ أمامَهُ مُشتَعِلاً.
