F or the Lord shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the Lord to anger.


Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ hành hại Y-sơ-ra-ên, như một cây sậy bị nước đưa đi, truất Y-sơ-ra-ên khỏi xứ tốt đẹp này mà Ngài đã ban cho tổ phụ họ, và làm tản lạc họ phía bên kia sông cái, bởi vì họ đã lấy hình tượng chọc giận Đức Giê-hô-va.
