Nehemiah 13:25 ~ Neemia 13:25

A nd I contended with them and cursed them and smote certain of them and plucked off their hair and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.

I-am mustrat, i-am blestemat, i-am pălmuit chiar pe unii dintre bărbaţi şi le-am smuls părul. I-am pus să jure pe Dumnezeu astfel: „Nu ne vom mărita fiicele cu fiii popoarelor şi nu ne vom căsători nici fiii, nici chiar noi înşine, cu fiicele lor!“
