Nehemiah 13:25 ~ Neemia 13:25

A nd I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them and plucked off their hair, and adjured them by God, Ye shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons or for yourselves.

I-am mustrat, i-am blestemat, i-am pălmuit chiar pe unii dintre bărbaţi şi le-am smuls părul. I-am pus să jure pe Dumnezeu astfel: „Nu ne vom mărita fiicele cu fiii popoarelor şi nu ne vom căsători nici fiii, nici chiar noi înşine, cu fiicele lor!“
