S o they came and called unto the porter of the city, and they told them, saying, We went to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied and asses tied, and the tents as they were.

Cosí andarono e chiamarono i guardiani della città, e li informarono della cosa, dicendo: «Siamo andati all'accampamento dei Siri, ed ecco non c'era nessuno né si sentiva voce d'uomo; ma c'erano soltanto i cavalli e gli asini legati e le tende intatte».
