A nd they came and called to the porters of the city, and told them saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and behold, there was no one there, no sound of man, but the horses tied, and the asses tied, and the tents as they were.

Cosí andarono e chiamarono i guardiani della città, e li informarono della cosa, dicendo: «Siamo andati all'accampamento dei Siri, ed ecco non c'era nessuno né si sentiva voce d'uomo; ma c'erano soltanto i cavalli e gli asini legati e le tende intatte».
