ل ا تُبالِغْ فِي التَّظاهُرِ بِالبِرِّ، وَلا تُبالِغْ فِي التَّظاهُرِ بِالحِكْمَةِ. وَإلّا فَإنَّكَ سَتُدَمِّرُ نَفسَكَ.

Do not be too right and good, and do not be too wise. Why should you destroy yourself?
