ل ا تُبالِغْ فِي التَّظاهُرِ بِالبِرِّ، وَلا تُبالِغْ فِي التَّظاهُرِ بِالحِكْمَةِ. وَإلّا فَإنَّكَ سَتُدَمِّرُ نَفسَكَ.

Don’t be overly righteous, neither make yourself overly wise. Why should you destroy yourself?
