A nd Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him and said, With the end of the staff which is in my hand I tasted a little honey, behold, I must die!

Allora Saul disse a Gionatan: «Dimmi quello che hai fatto». Gionatan glielo confessò e disse: «Sì, io assaggiai un po’ di miele con la punta del bastone che avevo in mano; eccomi qui: morirò!»
