f orty days, tempted of the devil; and in those days he did not eat anything, and when they were finished he hungered.

وَهُناكَ كانَ إبلِيْسُ يُغرِيْهِ بِالخَطِيَّةِ أربَعِيْنَ يَوماً، وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ شَيئاً أثناءَ تِلكَ الفَترَةِ، لَكِنَّهُ جاعَ في نِهايَتِها.
