d uring forty days, being tempted of the devil. And he did eat nothing in those days: and when they were completed, he hungered.

وَهُناكَ كانَ إبلِيْسُ يُغرِيْهِ بِالخَطِيَّةِ أربَعِيْنَ يَوماً، وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ شَيئاً أثناءَ تِلكَ الفَترَةِ، لَكِنَّهُ جاعَ في نِهايَتِها.
