A nd Gedaliah swore unto them and to their men, and said to them, Fear not to be servants of the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

Entonces Gedalías les hizo juramento a ellos y a los suyos, y les dijo: No temáis ser siervos de los caldeos; habitad en la tierra, y servid al rey de Babilonia, y os irá bien.
