扫 罗 叫 百 姓 起 誓 说 ， 凡 不 等 到 晚 上 向 敌 人 报 完 了 仇 吃 甚 麽 的 ， 必 受 咒 诅 。 因 此 这 日 百 姓 没 有 吃 甚 麽 ， 就 极 其 困 惫 。

And the men of Israel have been distressed on that day, and Saul adjureth the people, saying, `Cursed the man who eateth food till the evening, and I have been avenged of mine enemies;' and none of the people hath tasted food.
