Joshua 23:13 ~ Iosua 23:13

k now for a certainty that Jehovah your God will no more drive these nations from out of your sight; but they shall be a snare and a trap unto you, and a scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which Jehovah your God hath given you.

să fiţi încredinţaţi că Domnul Dumnezeul vostru, nu va mai izgoni aceste neamuri dinaintea voastră; ci ele vă vor fi o cursă şi un laţ, un bici în coaste, şi nişte spini în ochi, pînă veţi pieri de pe faţa acestei ţări bune, pe care v'a dat -o Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.
