Joshua 23:13 ~ Giosué 23:13

k now for a certainty that Jehovah your God will no more drive these nations from out of your sight; but they shall be a snare and a trap unto you, and a scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which Jehovah your God hath given you.

siate ben certi che il Signore, il vostro Dio, non continuerà a scacciare questi popoli davanti a voi, ma essi diventeranno per voi una rete, un’insidia, un flagello ai vostri fianchi, tante spine nei vostri occhi, finché non siate periti e scomparsi da questo buon paese che il Signore, il vostro Dio, vi ha dato.
