T hus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Damascus and for four, I will not reverse the punishment of it or revoke My word concerning it, because they have threshed Gilead with iron sledges.
