A nd Gedaliah sware to them and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not because of the servants of the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

Entonces Gedalías les hizo un juramento a todos ellos, y les dijo: «No tengan ningún temor de servir a los caldeos. Habiten el país, y sirvan al rey de Babilonia, y les irá bien».
