A nd Gedaliah sware to them and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not because of the servants of the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

Gedalías les hizo un juramento, a ellos y a sus hombres, y les dijo: “No teman a los siervos de los Caldeos; habiten en la tierra y sirvan al rey de Babilonia, y les irá bien.”
