J ehoshaphat made ships of Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Ezion-geber.

وَبَنَى المَلِكُ يَهُوشافاطُ سُفُنَ شَحْنٍ لِيُرْسِلَها إلَى مَدينَةِ أُوفِيرَ لاستِيرادِ الذَّهَبِ. لَكِنَّها لَمْ تَتَحَرَّكْ، بَلْ دُمِّرَتْ فِي مَرفَإ عِصْيُونِ جابِرَ.
