J ehoshaphat ordered ships of Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold, but they did not go, for the ships were wrecked at Ezion-geber.

وَبَنَى المَلِكُ يَهُوشافاطُ سُفُنَ شَحْنٍ لِيُرْسِلَها إلَى مَدينَةِ أُوفِيرَ لاستِيرادِ الذَّهَبِ. لَكِنَّها لَمْ تَتَحَرَّكْ، بَلْ دُمِّرَتْ فِي مَرفَإ عِصْيُونِ جابِرَ.
