A nd the remnant of the sodomites, that remained in the days of his father Asa, he put away out of the land.

وَنَفَى يَهُوشافاطُ كُلَّ الرِّجالِ الَّذِينَ كانُوا يَبِيعُونَ أجسادَهُمْ فِي عِبادَةِ آلِهَتِهِمْ. وَكانَ هَؤُلاءِ يُمارِسُونَ عِباداتِهِمْ فِي المُرتَفَعاتِ أثناءَ حُكمِ أبِيهِ آسا.
