H e destroyed from the land those who were left of the men who sold the use of their bodies in their religion during the days of his father Asa.

وَنَفَى يَهُوشافاطُ كُلَّ الرِّجالِ الَّذِينَ كانُوا يَبِيعُونَ أجسادَهُمْ فِي عِبادَةِ آلِهَتِهِمْ. وَكانَ هَؤُلاءِ يُمارِسُونَ عِباداتِهِمْ فِي المُرتَفَعاتِ أثناءَ حُكمِ أبِيهِ آسا.
