Joshua 10:40 ~ Iosua 10:40

S o Joshua smote all the land, the hill country, the South, the lowland, and the slopes, and all their kings. He left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the Lord, the God of Israel, commanded.

Iosua i-a învins astfel pe toţi regii din întreaga regiune: din zona muntoasă, din Neghev, din zona deluroasă şi de la poalele munţilor. Nu a lăsat nici un supravieţuitor, nimicind întreaga populaţie, aşa cum poruncise Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel.
