Z edekiah the king sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah with Zephaniah son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now to the Lord our God for us.

O rei Zedequias, porém, mandou Jucal, filho de Selemias, e o sacerdote Sofonias, filho de Maaséias, ao profeta Jeremias com esta mensagem: “Ore ao Senhor, ao nosso Deus, em nosso favor”.
