A nd Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto Jehovah our God for us.

O rei Zedequias, porém, mandou Jucal, filho de Selemias, e o sacerdote Sofonias, filho de Maaséias, ao profeta Jeremias com esta mensagem: “Ore ao Senhor, ao nosso Deus, em nosso favor”.
