Isaiah 58:3 ~ Jesaja 58:3

W hy have we fasted, they say, and You do not see it? Why have we afflicted ourselves, and You take no knowledge ? Behold, on the day of your fast, you find profit in your business, and you extort from your hired servants a full amount of labor.

"Warum fasten wir, und du siehst es nicht an? Warum tun wir unserm Leibe wehe, und du willst's nicht wissen?" Siehe, wenn ihr fastet, so übt ihr doch euren Willen und treibt alle eure Arbeiter.
