Isaiah 58:3 ~ ﺃﺷﻌﻴﺎء 58:3

W hy have we fasted, they say, and You do not see it? Why have we afflicted ourselves, and You take no knowledge ? Behold, on the day of your fast, you find profit in your business, and you extort from your hired servants a full amount of labor.

يَقُولُونَ: «لِماذا صُمنا، فَلَمْ تَلتَفِتْ إلَى صَومَنا؟ لِماذا ذَلَّلْنا أنفُسَنا، فَلَمْ تَنتَبِهْ؟» فَقالَ اللهُ: «إنَّكُمْ تَعمَلُونَ فِي يَومِ صَومِكُمْ ما يَحلُو لَكُمْ، وَتَقسُونَ عَلَى العامِلِينَ لَدَيكُمْ.
