Nehemiah 8:1 ~ Neemias 8:1

T hen all the people gathered together as one man in the broad place before the Water Gate; and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had given to Israel.

Quando chegou o sétimo mês e os israelitas tinham se instalado em suas cidades, todo o povo juntou-se como se fosse um só homem na praça, em frente da porta das Águas. Pediram ao escriba Esdras que trouxesse o Livro da Lei de Moisés, que o Senhor dera a Israel.
