P o në këtë periudhë Jozueu u nis në marshim dhe shfarosi Anakitët e krahinës malore, ata të Hebronit, të Debirit, të Anabit, të të gjithë krahinës malore të Judës dhe të të gjithë krahinës malore të Izraelit; Jozueu vendosi shfarosjen e tyre të plotë bashkë me qytetet e tyre.

Joshua came at that time and cut off the Anakim from the hill country: from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill country of Judah and the hill country of Israel. Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.
