( for all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

لِأنَّ الَّذِينَ عاشُوا فِي الأرْضِ قَبلَكُمْ عَمِلُوا كُلَّ هَذِهِ الأُمُورِ البَغِيضَةِ، فَصارَتِ الأرْضُ نَجِسَةً.
