( for the men of the land who have been before you have done all these abominations, and the land has become defiled);

لِأنَّ الَّذِينَ عاشُوا فِي الأرْضِ قَبلَكُمْ عَمِلُوا كُلَّ هَذِهِ الأُمُورِ البَغِيضَةِ، فَصارَتِ الأرْضُ نَجِسَةً.
